Announcement of open positions at Texas Wing HQ

Headquarters, Texas Wing has the following openings on the Wing Staff:
Accounting Officer:
The Accounting Officer is a volunteer CAP member who assists the
Director of Finance in managing Wing accounting and financial analysis.
Advises the Director of Finance, the Commander and staff on financial position and trends and recommends
corrective action where indicated. Advises and assists groups and squadrons in accounting for unit income
and expenses and related reporting. Assumes duties of the Director in the event of absence.
Budget Officer:
The Budget Officer is a volunteer CAP member who assists the Director of
Finance in developing the Wing annual mission and general and administrative budgets in conjunction with the
Wing staff. Monitors budget execution throughout the fiscal year and provides status reports to the cognizant
staffs. Advises the Director of Finance, Commander and staff on budget status and reprogramming requirements.
Assumes duties of the Director in the event of absence.
External Aerospace Education Officer:
The External Aerospace Education Officer is a volunteer CAP member who assists
the Director of Aerospace Education with promoting the CAP external aerospace
program in Texas schools, maintains a current list of Aerospace Education Members,
establishes and maintains contacts with state educational agencies, and aids in the
development of Aerospace Education curricula. The External AEO advises and assists
squadrons in their external outreach programs, and oversees the Texas Wing
Fly-A-Teacher Program.
Candidates must be current 215 rated Aerospace Education Officers.
